Funke Akindele, who we have come to know as Jenifa got married over the weekend to Kenny Almaroof. The engagement ceremony and white wedding took place on the same day, May 26. The Nikai ceremony took place on Thursday, May 24. The Lagos-born actress/movie producer refuted the rumors of her splashing 25 million naira for her wedding and that her hubby was previously married. Although Funke’s hubby is an Alhaji, the born-again christian has stated she’s still a christian. Some of the stars that attended the event were Genevieve Nnaji, Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Tiwa Savage amongst other A-list celebrities.

The newly wed took to her Twitter page to thank her fans and friends for their well wishes.
